Massimo D'Ambrosio has spent his career close to the everyday realities of patient care. After earning his Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from Nova Southeastern University in 1998, he built hands-on experience in outpatient therapy and went on to work with a medical equipment company, where he specialized in custom wheelchairs.
In 2003, Massimo founded Advanced Health Physical Therapy, a home health company offering physical, occupational, and speech therapy. Running the practice gave him a clear view of a problem that slowed his entire team: writing out medical records was time-consuming and unnecessarily difficult, both for his therapists and for himself.
Rather than accept that as part of the job, Massimo set out to build a better solution. He created an intuitive, easy-to-use way to produce treatment notes, evaluations, and other medical records, reducing the time and effort documentation demanded from clinicians. That work became DambrosioEMR.
